The example at the end of the article on a recent high value data breach only emphasizes the importance of my post yesterday, the breach was initiated by an individual who lost his corporate credentials in a malware fishing attack (showing a lack of education and security policy awareness) my one added thought is around good infrastructure monitoring and control in virtualised infrastructure is more feasible making threat detection simpler.
